József Szigetvári

Until 2024, József Szigetvári led the development of SzallasGroup as CEO, establishing one of Central Europe’s most largest tourism platforms. Prior to that, he built several successful products, including the market-leading job portal Profession.hu and the price comparison site Olcsobbat.hu. For nine years, he managed and expanded the international IT publisher IDG, overseeing its online and conference business divisions. His leadership achievements have been widely recognized, and he is the only recipient of both the Young Manager and Manager of the Year awards from IVSZ (the Hungarian Association of IT, Telecommunications, and Electronics). At PortfoLion, he supports companies in achieving leadership and international success. Additionally, he is a member of the Supervisory Board of SzallasGroup and OTP Health Fund. He is a proud father of two and an avid American football fan, a sport that has taught him that success is impossible without a great strategy and a strong team.
